On Thursday, 31.01.2019. first SEADRION stakeholder meeting was organized at University of Zagreb, Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture. Present were representatives of heat pump producers, technology suppliers and business support organisations. Stakeholders were first introduced to SEADRION project, after which the discussion started. Discussion was oriented around heat pump technologies and legislative problems. Conclusion of the meeting was that seawater heat pumps are a technology with great potential, but for them to be applied in greater extent, licences for seawater use need to be easier to obtain, and costs of seawater use should be lower.
